What do website maintenance services in Delhi NCR include?

Website maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps a Delhi NCR business website secure, fast and accurate after launch: careful updates, security hardening and malware scanning, off-site backups that are actually test-restored, monthly speed and Core Web Vitals checks, Google Analytics and Search Console kept working, and the small content changes every business needs.

I provide it for businesses across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad. Care plans start at ₹8,000 per month, month to month with no lock-in. One-off fixes without a plan — a slow site, a malware cleanup, broken tracking, a host migration — typically run ₹8,000 to ₹25,000 depending on what is wrong.

I am Abhishek Sharma, a web developer based in Faridabad. You deal with the person doing the work, on a direct number, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00 IST. I build and maintain both WordPress and Next.js sites, so the same person who diagnoses a problem can fix it in the code.

What does a website care plan cover each month?

Six pieces of work, every month, with a written report of what was done and what was found.

Updates, applied carefully

Core, theme, plugin and dependency updates tested before they reach the live site where the stack allows it. Skipping updates leaves known holes open; applying them blindly breaks things. Both are avoidable.

Security hardening and scanning

Login hardening, file permissions, SSL validity, security headers and malware scanning. If something does get in, cleanup plus a root-cause fix so it does not simply happen again.

Backups that get restore-tested

Automated off-site backups and a periodic test restore. A backup nobody has ever restored is a hope, not a plan — and you find out which on the worst possible day.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Monthly checks against Google's thresholds — LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds, CLS under 0.1 — with regressions fixed, not just reported.

Analytics that stay correct

Google Analytics 4 and Search Console kept working, with enquiry and conversion events verified rather than assumed. Broken tracking is worse than none, because decisions get made on wrong numbers.

Small changes, done promptly

Text edits, new pages, price updates, banner swaps, a new team member on the About page — the jobs that otherwise wait for months because nobody owns them.

What if the agency that built our website has disappeared?

It is one of the most common reasons Delhi NCR businesses get in touch. The site was built, the invoice was paid, and then the emails stopped being answered — while the domain, the hosting and sometimes even the Google Analytics account sit in the agency's name rather than yours.

Taking over a site like that follows the same four steps every time:

1

Recover access — in your name

Domain registrar, hosting, website admin, Google Analytics, Search Console and Business Profile. Each one should belong to your business account, with the developer added as a user — not the other way round.

2

Find out what you actually have

What the site is built on, which versions, how far behind on updates, which plugins are abandoned, whether backups exist and whether anything has already been compromised.

3

Put it in writing

A written health check with the urgent fixes first. If the site is in bad enough shape that rebuilding costs less than maintaining it, the report says so plainly.

4

Then, and only then, a plan

A month-to-month care plan if the site is worth keeping, a one-off fix if that is all it needs, or a rebuild quote if neither makes sense.

Whoever maintains your site next — me or anyone else — make sure the domain, hosting and analytics accounts are in your business's name, with the developer added as a user. It is the single most important thing in this whole page, and it costs nothing.

How much does website maintenance cost in Delhi NCR?

Published here so you do not have to ask. Month to month, no lock-in.

Care plan

from ₹8,000/month

Cancel any time

  • Core, theme and dependency updates
  • Security hardening + malware scanning
  • Off-site backups, periodically restore-tested
  • Monthly PageSpeed + Core Web Vitals check
  • GA4 / Search Console upkeep
  • Small content changes included
  • Monthly written report

The final monthly figure depends on the size of the site and how much change you push through it — a brochure site sits at the bottom, a busy store with weekly updates higher.

One-off fixes

₹8,000–₹25,000

No plan required

  • Speed + Core Web Vitals remediation
  • Malware cleanup and hardening
  • Broken tracking / GA4 repair
  • Migration to a better host
  • SSL, DNS and email deliverability fixes

Priced after a look at the actual site. If a rebuild would cost less than repeatedly patching, I will say so — rebuilds start at ₹35,000.

When comparing maintenance quotes, ask three questions: are updates tested before they go live, have the backups ever been restored, and who actually does the work. The answers say more than the price.

How quickly do you respond when the website breaks?

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 IST. Within those hours, a site that is fully offline jumps the queue ahead of every scheduled job.

Outside those hours I am not a 24/7 helpdesk, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Plenty of maintenance providers advertise round-the-clock support; if your business genuinely needs guaranteed response at 2am — a large store running night-time sales, a booking system serving other time zones — you need a team with shifts, and that is the right purchase for you.

For most Delhi NCR business websites, the honest risk is not a 2am emergency. It is a plugin that has not been updated in a year, a backup that has never been tested, or a speed problem quietly costing enquiries every day. That is what a care plan prevents.

What should you do if your website has been hacked?

Act quickly, and fix the cause rather than just the symptom. Common signs: spam pages in your Google results that you never created, visitors redirected to other sites, a warning from Google in Search Console or in the browser, or your host suspending the account.

The order that works

  1. Take a copy of the current state for diagnosis, then restore from a clean backup if one exists.
  2. Find and patch what was exploited — usually an outdated plugin or theme.
  3. Rotate every password and access key: hosting, admin, database, FTP, email.
  4. Search for backdoors and injected spam pages left behind.
  5. Request a review in Search Console if Google has flagged the site.

Cleaning without closing the hole usually means being hacked again within weeks. Prevention is far cheaper: most compromised business sites trace back to software nobody was updating — which is the first thing a care plan fixes.

How should an e-commerce site prepare for a festive sale?

Weeks before it, not days. A festive sale is the worst possible time to discover that checkout breaks on one payment method or that the product pages take eight seconds to load on a mid-range phone. The preparation that matters:

Pre-sale checklist

  • Updates applied and tested well before the sale, not the week of it
  • A fresh backup — and a test restore to prove it works
  • Product, cart and checkout pages speed-tested on a mid-range phone
  • Payment gateway, order emails and stock levels tested end to end
  • Analytics and ad conversion tracking verified
  • A change freeze close to the sale, so nothing new breaks at peak traffic

On a care plan this is scheduled automatically ahead of the dates you tell me about. As a one-off, it fits inside the ₹8,000–₹25,000 range depending on the size of the store.

Does a Next.js website need less maintenance than WordPress?

Yes — less, but not none. A WordPress site with a dozen plugins is a dozen separate pieces of software, each with its own release schedule and security history, and plugins are where most compromises start. That is the main reason WordPress maintenance takes more time.

A statically generated Next.js site has no plugin surface for bots to attack, which removes the most common route in entirely. It still needs dependency updates for security patches, checks that builds and deployments keep succeeding, Core Web Vitals monitoring as content grows, and analytics upkeep — so Next.js maintenance is usually lighter and cheaper for the same business. If you are weighing a rebuild, see website development.

Do you need to be in Delhi to maintain our website?

No. Maintenance is done remotely through access you grant — hosting, admin panel, analytics — and can remove at any time. I work from HNO 1198, Sector 16A, Faridabad, Haryana 121002, India, reachable on +91 70489 83936, and maintain sites for businesses across the region the same way. When a problem genuinely needs someone in the room, NCR is close enough to travel.

Website maintenance in Delhi NCR — FAQs

The questions Delhi NCR businesses ask before handing over their website.

How much does website maintenance cost in Delhi NCR?+
My care plans start at ₹8,000 per month, month to month with no lock-in. That covers updates, security hardening and scanning, off-site backups that are periodically restore-tested, monthly speed and Core Web Vitals checks, analytics upkeep and a set amount of small content changes. One-off fixes without a plan — a speed problem, a malware cleanup, broken tracking, a host migration — typically run ₹8,000 to ₹25,000 depending on what is wrong. Where rebuilding is cheaper than patching, I will say so; rebuilds start at ₹35,000.
What is included in a website maintenance plan?+
Core, theme, plugin and dependency updates applied carefully rather than blindly; security hardening and malware scanning; automated off-site backups that are actually test-restored; monthly PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals checks with regressions fixed; Google Analytics 4 and Search Console kept working with conversion events verified; small content changes such as text edits, new pages and price updates; and a written monthly report of what was done.
The agency that built our website has stopped responding. Can you take over?+
Yes — it is one of the most common reasons Delhi NCR businesses get in touch. The first step is recovering access: the domain registrar, the hosting account, the website admin and Google Analytics and Search Console, ideally all in the business's own name. Then an audit of what the site is built on, how out of date it is, whether backups exist and whether anything has already been compromised. You get that in writing before committing to anything monthly.
Do you offer an annual maintenance contract (AMC)?+
Care plans are month to month rather than locked into a year. You can stop whenever you want and keep everything already done — the hardening, the fixes and the tracking setup stay in place. I would rather keep clients because the work is worth paying for each month than because a contract says they cannot leave.
How quickly do you respond when the website goes down?+
My working hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 IST. Within those hours a site that is fully offline jumps the queue ahead of all scheduled work. Outside them I am not a 24/7 helpdesk, and I will not pretend to be — if your business genuinely needs round-the-clock response with guaranteed times, you need a team with shifts, and I will tell you that rather than sell you a promise I cannot keep.
Our website has been hacked and is showing spam. What should we do?+
Act quickly, but fix the cause rather than just the symptom. That means restoring from a clean backup where one exists, finding and patching whatever was exploited — usually an outdated plugin or theme — rotating every password and access key, checking for hidden backdoors and injected spam pages, and requesting a review in Search Console if Google has flagged the site. Cleaning without closing the hole usually means being hacked again within weeks.
Why has our website become slow when nothing changed?+
Something almost always changed, just not in a way anyone noticed. The usual causes are large images uploaded straight from a phone, a new chat, marketing or tracking script added by someone in the team, a plugin update that added weight, a database that has grown without cleanup, or a cheap shared host that is now overloaded. A Core Web Vitals check usually points at the cause quickly, and the fix is often small.
Do you maintain both WordPress and Next.js websites?+
Yes. WordPress sites need the most care because every plugin is a separate piece of software with its own updates and its own security history. Next.js sites have no plugin surface for bots to attack, so maintenance is lighter — dependency updates for security patches, checks that builds and deployments keep succeeding, Core Web Vitals as content grows, and analytics upkeep — and usually cheaper for the same business.
Can you maintain an e-commerce website before a big sale?+
Yes, and before a big sale is exactly when it matters. Ahead of a festive sale or a major campaign, the work is updates applied and tested well in advance, a fresh backup that has been test-restored, a speed check on the product and checkout pages on a mid-range phone, and payment, order emails and tracking tested end to end. Changes are frozen close to the sale so nothing new breaks while the traffic is highest.
Do you need to be in Delhi to maintain our website?+
No. Website maintenance is done remotely through access you grant to the hosting, the admin panel and the analytics accounts — access you can remove at any time. I am based in Sector 16A, Faridabad, part of Delhi NCR, and maintain sites for businesses across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad the same way. When a problem genuinely needs someone in the room, NCR is close enough to travel.
